Managing conjunctivitis naturally

Don’t you hate when your kiddos wake up and they can’t open their eyes because of all the gunk?! It’s the pits.

My top 2 recommendations for conjunctivitis:
1️⃣ Breastmilk
2️⃣ Homeopathic remedies

Breast Milk naturally contains immune protective properties including immunoglobulins and lactoferrin. You can add a small amount to the eye (as eye drops) and around the eye (as a simple eye wipe). Scientific studies show breastmilk is as effective as over the counter options. One study suggested that “the use of breast milk as eye drops could be considered as a first-line treatment for infants aged ≤6 months with eye discharge”. PMID: 33098117

We don’t always have breastmilk on hand though 😏

👉Pulsatilla is the number one remedy for conjunctivitis to reach for in children. It’s usually indicated when there is that thick, yellow discharge upon opening with eyelashes sticking together. It’s also my go-to one of the go-to remedies for styes

👉Hepar sulph can be used for conjunctivitis and is indicated when there is great sensitivity to touch. The eyes and eyelids are red and inflamed.

Just one pilule of the remedy (that is MOST similar to the symptoms) under the tongue or 1 pilule added to a glass of water 💁‍♀️ and watch what happens.

Now, you don’t need to be a homeopath to use homeopathy. This is why I created homeopathy kits ten years ago. You can have these tools in your toolkit and have natural medicine at your fingertips.
